Dan Flying Solo is the travel blog and creative platform of Dan, a former restaurant manager turned globetrotting photographer, writer, and storyteller. His journey began not with wealth or a grand plan, but with curiosity and risk—he traveled for 1,467 consecutive days between 2014 and 2018, camera in hand, documenting the world and his personal transformation along the way. Despite never intending to become a blogger, Dan has built a career around sharing authentic travel experiences, often getting "as lost as possible" to find the heart of a place. Now based in Portugal, he juggles roles as a photographer, videographer, travel writer, and creative director, continuing to explore both near and far.
